The Guides and Scouts of Norway are proud to welcome you to the 15th European Guide and Scout Conference in Norway and at our venue in Melsomvik on the shores of a calm inlet of the Oslo fjord.
We want to offer you a European Conference held the Norwegian way, where the surrounding nature is more than just a scenic backdrop, but just as much a part of the Conference venue as the plenary hall and breakout rooms.
At the 15th European Guide and Scout Conference, your delegation will not be spread over seberal rooms in one or more hotels once the sessions are over. Instead, we will all live next to each other in cabins of the Garden Village of the Oslofjord Convention Centre, forming one big European village.
As hosts we aim to provide a smooth conference experience, from the moment you arrive in Norway till the time when we bid farewell. We are confident that the fresh air, relaxing vistas and spirit of community which come with the venue will provide an excellent arena for fruitful discussions and decision making.
